Overview
Hyaluronic acid is a humectant: it draws water toward the skin. Apply this serum to slightly damp skin and seal it with a moisturizer so the water it holds does not evaporate. On its own, in a dry room, a humectant can pull moisture out of the skin, which is why the damp-skin and moisturizer steps matter.
