Overview
Mineral sunscreens like our Mineral Shield SPF 30 need a proper oil-based cleanse to come off fully. This balm handles that job, then rinses without a film so your second cleanse and serums can absorb. The kaolin clay gives a faint matte finish without over-drying.
Key ingredients
- Sunflower seed oil — a light, linoleic-acid-rich oil that dissolves makeup and SPF.
- Kaolin clay — a gentle clay that absorbs excess oil.
- Cedarwood essential oil — provides the balm’s natural woody scent.
- Vitamin E — an antioxidant that protects the oils from oxidising.
- Jojoba esters — help the balm emulsify and rinse clean.
How to use
- Scoop a small amount with the spatula and warm it between dry fingers.
- Massage over dry skin for 30–60 seconds to dissolve makeup and sunscreen.
- Add a little water to emulsify, then rinse with lukewarm water.
- Follow with the Quartz Gel Cleanser as a second cleanse.
